Lately, I had the chance to be invited for a special evening at the Guilde Culinaire, where Medjool dates were honored. First of all, just being received by Jonathan Garnier in his kitchen, made my day. But then, having the chance to enjoy a 7 services course developed by himself, what could I ask for more ?
On the menu…
“Exit” the date square. We had a quite spectacular menu around the date; from the shredded beef burger to tartare of salmon, not to mention foie gras or even soup, I can tell you that freshness and creativity were present!
Very tempting is’nt it? The beauty of this is that all these recipes are easily achievable at home. This is also the philosophy of Jonathan Garnier when he launched La Guilde Culinaire; propose refined and original dishes, with quality ingredients that everyone can do at home without sophisticated equipment and technical skill. Jonathan Garnier is the chef and owner, but he has a brigade of 12 chefs who give workshops, depending on their specialty.
