What better way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo than with tequila and tacos?
The folks at Espolón Tequila made that a reality for lucky guests across the country with a series of events in Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto.
We had the pleasure of attending the festivities in Toronto. Held at The Lodge on Queen Street West, guests were treated to a series of tasty tequila cocktails – from the classic Margarita, to a spicy and oh-so-delicious Paloma.
Of course, no Cinco de Mayo event is complete without tacos and this soiree did not disappoint. There was a do-it-yourself taco and guacamole station that came with all the fixings – from garlic to corn and bacon… and everything is better with bacon, right?
Entertainment that evening included a face painting station and caricature artist. Both gave guests a unique Day of the Dead look and was a fun complement to the DJ and dancing that came later in the evening.
